Bayley House Old Wrekinian Centenary Celebrations

I warmly invite you to attend the Bayley Centenary Celebratory Weekend on Saturday 16th May and Sunday 17th May.
Programme
Saturday 16th May
The proposed cricket on Saturday 16th May is no longer taking place due to only a small number of cricketers coming forward, and a clash at school with Gold Duke of Edinburgh expedition.
Sunday 17th May – The main event!
From 10am: Reception in the Business School with coffee etc
Tours of the School - including “old Bayley” and College House (new Bayley will feature later in the day)
11.30am: Service in Chapel including at least three hymns!
Noon: Tours and pre-lunch gathering for Prosecco and canapés in “new Bayley”, by kind permission of the current Housemaster, Mr Jonny Longfellow.
1pm: Lunch in the School Dining Room. This will comprise of “Sunday lunch”, sweet, cheese and biscuits and coffee. Tables will be organised, as far as possible, in year groups according to those attending. There will be a bar (card only) which will serve wine, beers and soft drinks only. Currently, the following Housemasters have said that they will be in attendance; Mr and Mrs Michael de Weymarn; Mr and Mrs Guy Roberts; Mr and Mrs Ian Williamson: Mrs Christina Graham. Also on the guest list are current Headmasters Ben Smith and Simon Platford, and current Head of Bayley Mr Jonny Longfellow.
Guests are free to leave at any time after the meal.
Dress code: smart casual

1. Thanks to most generous sponsorship, we are able to price the tickets for Sunday's event at £28 per person
2. OWs are welcome to bring their partners should they wish
3. Please book your place using the ticket link. If you have any queries please email owa@wrekincollege.com.
4. Please indicate in the question responses when booking your ticket whether we have your permission to publish your name as coming, in the hope that it might attract others
5 MOST IMPORTANT. Please note that there are only 140 tickets available on a first come, first served basis. The initial interest last year was most encouraging and we know that several year groups have already made arrangements to attend, so early application is advised. Please note also that only a paid application will get you on the list of attendees.
