Units of the Corps saw extensive action during the Italian Campaign. Kenneth [aged 31] was one of two OWs to be killed in action on Tuesday 9th November 1943 in different campaigns. He is also one of three OWs to lie in the Minturno War Cemetery in Italy.
Son of Matthew Robert Cartwright & Ada Cartwright of Knowle, Warwickshire.
