                            John Rogers [aged 23] was commisioned on 19th August 1939 and was the pilot of an Airspeed Oxford Mk II aircraft which took off from RAF Kinloss, Morayshire on Thursday 28th September 1939 when it crashed at Lethen Bridge, SE of Nairn, Morayshire. Both crew members were killed.
John was subsequently buried in Birmingham (Lodge Hill) Cemetery.
Elder son of Rupert James Rogers & Emily Minnie Rogers of Edgbaston, Birmingham.
