In 2019, Joan Griffiths sadly died of pancreatic cancer. Joan’s son Neil (L/Y. 1993-00) and her husband Haydn have set up the charity Joan’s SMi)E to support the families of those affected by pancreatic cancer.
The Big Raffle was drawn on Sunday 1st December and raised an incredible £9000. Thank you to all those that bought tickets to support this amazing cause.
With many more fundraising events planned for 2020, this is just the beginning of a charity with big ambitions to make a real difference to the families of those suffering with pancreatic cancer.
