MEMORIES OF WREKIN
“Over the years, Wrekin has taken me to some amazing places, with the furthest being Australia. However, the most special memory I have of Wrekin will always be in the Chapel, the heart of the school. The sound of the Wrekin roar singing Jerusalem will forever stay with me. Nothing could compare to the feeling of listening to the incredible noise made by Wrekinians, and the sense of pride and unity that filled the chapel. It gave me goosebumps every time, truly unforgettable!
SINCE LEAVING WREKIN
At the age of 24, I am now living my dream as a florist and running my own business called Teasel & Bloom. It keeps me incredibly busy! Wrekin School equipped me with the necessary skills and gave me unwavering self-belief that prepared me perfectly to pursue my dreams, even though they may have once seemed daunting and out of reach. I truly adored my time at Wrekin - the sense of family, the close-knit community, and the support that surrounded me there. It's something that you may not fully appreciate until you experience it from the other side, but Wrekin is truly a special place, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have been a part of it. I still reside in Shropshire, so I will never be too far away from Wrekin, which will always feel like home to me! “
