Wrekin is celebrating an impressive set of GCSE results with almost 40% of grades at 9–7 (A/A)* and nearly 80% at grade 5 or above, a strong pass.
Ben Smith, Deputy Head (Academic) said: “This reflects both the high quality of learning that is taking place throughout the school as well as the determination of our dedicated teaching staff to ensure that all pupils, irrespective of their academic ability, are able to achieve a strong set of GCSEs.”
Special mention to our top eight Fifth Formers, who achieved an average points score of 8.00 or higher – an incredible achievement!
Today marks a proud moment for the entire Wrekin community as we celebrate the hard work of our students and look ahead to their exciting next chapter in Wrekin Sixth.
