Over 75 Old Bayleys returned to Wrekin last weekend (Sunday 17th May) to celebrate the centenary of Bayley House.
The day began with coffee and refreshments in the Business School, before the OWs were treated to a tour of old Bayley (now Lancaster House), College House, New School, Music School, with some also seeing Art School and the Graham Building.
Everyone then made their way to the Chapel for a special service led by Rev. Lee Plummer with a reading from David Winterton (B. 1981-86).
Tours were followed by prosecco and canapés in new Bayley House, before lunch in the Dining Room.
Much enjoyment was had by all, with friendships renewed and new ones made. Thank you to all who attended.
"Many thanks for yesterday, your organisation was impeccable, I and all who attended had a fantastic day"
"I much enjoyed the Bayley celebrations. It was lovely to catch up with some old faces . Well done on organising and hosting it."
"I am writing this email to thank you and your team of organisers for your work which resulted in a wonderful memorable day for me and the other old boys that I spoke to and met on Sunday."
